Dear Member
As we come to the end of a difficult term where schools and colleges have reopened wider and national restrictions are starting to ease after the national lockdown, we wanted to provide you with an update. We appreciate how hard you have worked this term and we thank you for everything you have done and continue to do.
In our previous update for members, the NASUWT published the 8th March Operational Guidance for schools, which was released in conjunction with the handy reference guides published for primary schools and secondary schools. We also published an extensive suite of guidance and support materials on managing COVID-19 in schools including self-audit letters for members.
The NASUWT also published coronavirus checklists for members on Health and Safety and on Workload. Members can use these checklists to protect and safeguard their health and safety and ensure that their workload and working practices are manageable and sustainable.
The Frequently Asked Questions section on the NASUWT website, which is regularly updated should be consulted in the first instance where a member has a question or concern about practices in their workplace.
Further information and advice for members is available on the Union’s Coronavirus Hub.
