Coventry moves to Tier 2 (High)
As of Saturday 24th October 00.01, Coventry moves into Tier 2 (High) of the Government’s COVID-19 Alert System.
We will issue further guidance for our members after the Half Term break.
If you have any concerns you can raise them using our Incident Report Form.
Survey of Teachers’ Experiences
In order to continue our representations to the Government over experiences in schools of the impact of the coronavirus, we would be grateful if you could complete the snapshot survey linked below to let us know your experiences within your school.
The survey should take about 15 minutes and will close at the end of Tuesday 27th October. Thank you for your continued support in letting us know about the issues facing you.

Representatives Introductory Training
If you have previously booked to attend a Reps 1 course, have become a School Rep/Contact during lockdown or are an existing School Rep/Contact that has identified themselves as wanting additional training during this time, we are delivering a Reps Training Course on two separate dates – Wednesday 11th November 2020 and Wednesday 18th November 2020. These will be twilight sessions taking place between 6pm and 8pm.
We hope you will be able to attend one. If you would like to take part in the training, please email the Equality & Training team at Training@mail.nasuwt.org.uk. Please include, your full name, your membership number, your postcode and the date you would like to attend.
This training course will be delivered via Zoom.
Positive Youth Foundation/Coventry City Council – ‘Own your Space’
Positive Youth Foundation have put together an excellent two minute video (with the support of Coventry City Council) called “Own your space”. This raises awareness of the importance of COVID-19 prevention measures in our everyday lives and interactions i.e. Hands, Face, Space in a relatable and creative way. Please share with your school community as appropriate (e.g. secondary age and upper end of primary).
